The Patriot Z-Flap Non-Contact SensingEdge is manufactured to work with Rolling Steel and Sectional Doors. The Miller Edge Model MWTA02 gate and door edge transmitter is designed to provide obstacle sensing protection for a variety of motorized gates and doors. The Model MWTA02 is available with an Audible Alarm feature that activates when the battery has only 25% of its life remaining, indicating the battery should be replaced.

When the SensingEdge detects an obstruction, a fault condition is communicated to the transmitter and the receiver. The signal is then passed on to the motor operator to control the motion of the door or gate.
